■Oikawa's POV■

It's been days since Y/N finally accepted me back. That day at her mother's house, we let each other's feeling out. I'm glad her mother allowed me to be her boyfriend again. Actually, it's a lot easier when I told her that I finally gain Y/N's trust back, than when I told Iwa chan.

Three days after Y/N and my visit to Y/N's mother's house, we visit Iwa chan and told him what happened. I think my ears were about to fall off of my head after listening to Iwa chan super long scolding. But in the end, I know he's happy for me. He did warn me that if I hurt Y/N again, he'll definitely break my neck. But even without him threatening me like that, I won't hurt Y/N.

Now it's Friday night, I'm currently waiting for Y/N in front of her office. I look back at the backseats where some bags are set. Y/N and I are planning to visit my parent's house in Miyagi, and of course to meet the lender of this mighty car. 

I saw Y/N walk out of her office building, along with her coworkers. I waved my hand and walk closer, as she gives me that sweet smile that always made me fly. I wonder, do her friends know about our relationship, actually, I don't mind about the other, but, I want that Hiraga guy to know that Y/N is mine.

Y/N: Tooru, have you wait for lo-

I kiss her, in front of her friends. I can hear the gasp and shocked voice of her friends.

Oikawa: nope, I've just arrived... shall we go now?

Y/N was totally flustered by now, of course, she didn't expect that I'm going to give her a surprise attack, but what can I do, I'm pretty competitive with those who I think of as a rival. With that, I smile at her friends and take her to walk with me to the car.

Y/N is still quiet for a while even when I already start driving, but then she finally comes to her sense. Y/N hit me lightly on my shoulder and pouting, how cute.

Y/N: Tooru what was that for? it's embarrassing to be kissed in front of everyone....

I can't help but chuckle.

Tooru: well, I can't help it... you know how competitive I am when there's someone I think of as a rival...

Y/N gives me a confused look, well, she definitely doesn't realize that one of her coworkers is into her. Well, she doesn't need to know so I just pat her head. 

■Y/N POV■

After riding for almost five hours, we finally arrived at Oikawa's family house in Miyagi. It's been so long since the last time I'm here in Miyagi, and it's been so long since I met Tooru's family. We walk to the front door, and Tooru presses the bell. Somehow, I became anxious, I mean, I used to be so close to Tooru's family, but we haven't seen or talked to each other. Moreover, I didn't come to say goodbye to Tooru back then, I'm afraid of their thought of me.

Not long after Tooru presses the bell, the door is open, showing a boy who's probably in high school. This boy looks familiar though, but I can't remember. 

Takeru: Uncle Tooru? what? I didn't know you will come? wait, Y/N san?

Oikawa: You've grown so much Takeru, well I'm planning for a surprise visit. Are mom and big sis home?

It's Takeru? Tooru's nephew, he's this tall already. 

Takeru: yes, grandma and mom's are inside, come on in.

We walk inside and head to the living room. We can hear someone is talking from the living room.

Oikawa's mom: Who is it Takeru?

Oikawa: it's your son coming

Tooru's mom and sister are surprised.

Oikawa's sister: what? you didn't tell us you'll come for a visit. We thought you're back in Argentina already.

Oikawa: well, I'm actually planning to stay for a month so ye-

Oikawa's mom: so you mean you're staying in Japan since the Olympic ended, and decided not to tell your family, and just come to visit when you're about to leave, this son of mi-

Tooru's mother sees me, and she looks surprised. 

Oikawa's mom: Y/N?

Y/N: good evening (Oikawa's mom) san, it's... it's been so long... I'm sorry I haven't come to visit duri-

I was cut off when Tooru's mother pulls me in an embrace. 

Oikawa's mom: oh my god, I miss you Y/N. I thought I could never see you again after what my stupid son did... glad that you guys are not on a bad term at least... but I can't believe I've lost my perfect in-law candidate...

Tooru's mom is caressing my cheeks with her hands, and talking in such a sweet tone. Tooru then walks and stands behind me, he puts his hands on my shoulder and clears his throat.

Oikawa: well mom, actually... I got your in-law candidate back... we're back togeth-

Oikawa's mom & Sis: WHAAAAT????

Tooru and I were surprised when his mom and sister shouted, even Takeru is also startled by them. Did they didn't approve of us? what to do? just then Tooru's mother pulls me away from Tooru and his sister turns my head to see her.

Oikawa's sister: why did you take that asshole back?

Oikawa's mother: I'm happy but I can't believe that you allowed that stupid man back in your life

Oikawa: MOM! SIS! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT ABOUT YOUR SON AND BROTHER?

Oikawa's mom: son or not, a guy who cheated is a jerk.

Tooru's sister stares at my eyes.

Oikawa's sister: you sure you're going to let him back in your life?

I look at her and Tooru's mom, they both look worried. I then turn my gaze to Tooru who's pouting and stares at me with pleading eyes. I can't help but smile at him. I look back at Tooru's mother and sister. I nod my head to Tooru's mom and sister, and their eyes are widened a little.

Y/N: I decided to give Tooru a second chance... because I... too, all this time still actually think about Tooru... When I met him again for the first time after all those years, I was doubting him...

Tooru's mother and sister are listening to me, so does Tooru who's eyes are slightly bit widened.

Y/N: but, Tooru came to see my mother and talked to her... hearing how he asks my mother for permission to pursue me back and telling her how he's going to make it right this time... I can't help to let him in...

Oikawa's mother: he... came to meet (mom name)? 

I nodded my head and smile at her. Tooru looks away, his face is blushing. Takeru elbows him lightly. 

Tooru's mother looks at me with tender eyes, so does Tooru's sister.

Oikawa's Sister: I'm glad that you took him back, just can't imagine if he chooses a random girl from his fangirls.

Oikawa's mother: Thank you for taking him back Y/N... I'm glad that you will be the one who joined our family in the future.

listening to Tooru's mother saying things about joining this family, makes my heart beating faster. I can feel my face are hot and my chest feels stuffy. We just got back together for a couple of days, does Tooru think about us that far?

I look at Tooru, and what I see makes my breath hitch. Tooru is looking at me, smiling ever so sweetly. Eyes are looking into mine tenderly, and I can't help to drown in those brown eyes of his.

somehow my eyes became hot, hot tears roll down my cheeks. I can't help it, I'm so happy. The family of the man that I ever love, welcomes me warmly like this, I can't help it. Tooru's mother hugs me and I hug her back.

Oikawa's sister: I guess you guys should rest now, it's late and you've been on a long journey here.

Oikawa's mother: Take a shower! both of you, Takeru has prepared the bath upstairs, Y/N can use it, and Tooru you can take a shower in the bathroom downstairs. With that Tooru and I walk to Tooru's old room, nothing changes, it's still the same as when we were in high school. We went to take a shower and clean ourselves.

■3rd Person POV■

Tooru has finished taking a shower, He's now sitting on his bed, looking at the sky from his window. He's texting Iwaizumi, telling him that both Y/N and he have arrived in Miyagi. Just then the door opens, Y/N comes in looking all comfortable in her t-shirt and sweatpants.

Tooru watch as Y/N walks closer, Her cheeks flushed from the warm bath, her hair is still a bit damp, she's beautiful in so many ways to him. Tooru reaches out and pulls Y/N to him, startling the woman. 

They are laying on the bed sideways, facing each other. Y/N can feel that her heart is racing.

■Y/N POV■

Yes, we're back together, but we haven't been this close again. Tooru leans closer and I close my eyes, I can feel how stiff my body is. I can feel soft lips on my forehead, Tooru kisses my forehead. I open my eyes and look into his. He stares at me lovingly.

Oikawa: Y/N... just wait...everything that my mother said before... about you joining this family, I'll definitely do that, so you better prepare yourself. I'm not going to accept no as an answer.

Tooru looks so serious, eyes piercing into my soul. I can only nod my head and hide my face on his chest. We stayed in each other's arms until we fell asleep.
